OSK FOUNDATION DELIVERS SYLLABUS AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES TO KELAS KOMUNITI ASALNIKA VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL AT POS MUSUH

As part of OSK Group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives,

OSK Foundation sponsored the 2017 pre-school syllabus and educational supplies for eight village pre-schools under the Empowered2teach programme by SUKA Society. Foundation has also committed to support the yearly expenditure for the new pre-school-Kelas Komuniti Asalnika in Pos Musuh for three years beginning 2017. Kelas Komuniti Asalnika Pos Musuh is an Orang Asli pre-school located in 8th Mile of Kampung Pos Musuh, Tapah,Perak. The pre-school is currently utilising a classroom in Sekolah Kebangsaan Pos Musuh and has an average of 15 to 20 students per intake. The village consists of the Orang Asli community from the Semai ethnic group. Empowered2teach is a programme by SUKA Society which aims to empower the indigenous community to start their own pre-school classes by equipping them with the materials and training for the teachers.This programme also endeavours to prepare the pre-schoolers with the basic foundation needed to work towards completing their formal education.
